Carwash raises $443 for Marching Eagles
Story Contributed
CCHS Marching Eagles are working hard to raise funds for their upcoming Bands of America and ISMMA competitions in October.
Marching Band allows for students to gain skills in leadership and discipline. Uniformity of both musical and visual performance, style, and focus are required in marching band. Servant leadership is a key component to student marching bands. In addition, marching band helps students develop dedication and hard work through 3–8-hour practices and a 6 month fall season (Practices starting in June and ending in No
vember).
These students have an incredible opportunity to march at Lucus Oil Stadium this fall. The car wash raised $433 towards the cost of this event.
